Jacobs Awarded $610 Million FEMA Contract
On April 16, Jacobs reported that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security awarded the company a contract for the continued support of FEMA. Along with FEMA personnel, Jacobs will support the post-disaster response and recovery mission for debris removal, protective measures, and restoration and recovery of damaged property. The contract has an estimated ceiling value of $610 million, and it covers services across 17 states.
Sonal issued an alert at 7:45 am. Regular market trading opened for the day at $76.70. The stock price moved higher throughout the event day and continued over the next four trading sessions. Trading closed at $80.33 on April 23, which gave investors a five-day gain of 4.7%.
