Raytheon Receives $7 Million Contract Award from the Department of Defense

On February 1, Raytheon Company (RTN) received a contract award for $7 million from the Department of Defense. The award had been announced on January 9. The Department of Defense contacted Raytheon to repair the APY-10 radar system for the P-8A aircraft used by the U.S. Navy.

 

Sonal sent an alert to subscribers at 8:00 am. Raytheon’s stock opened for regular market trading at $165.99. The stock price climbed over the next five trading sessions before closing at $175.94 on February 7. That makes a gain of 6% for investors in the days following the award announcement.
